Success Coaching

What is coaching?

Success Coaching is a process of achieving your most-desired results through partnership with your coach. The process of coaching concentrates on getting you from where you are now to where you would actually like to be - in any area - be it personally or professionally.

The process also helps you to clarify what the 'today' and 'tomorrow' more fully looks like, and seeks to bridge the gap with effective, measurable and ultimately sustainable strategies for your ongoing success.

Creating outstanding results takes clear vision, motivation, disciplined action and support. Coaching enables all of this by providing a solid structure that really works. One focal point of commitment when coaching with Success Point is that you can expect a comprehensive and solid development of your personal mastery.

What do you mean by 'success point'?

I view one's success point as that place of complete, authentic integration of who you are with what you are doing for ultimate congruence, balance and conscious alignment with what you most want for your life and work.

What do you mean by 'personal mastery'?

You acquire personal mastery more and more by working consciously on who you are. The more you work at strengthening the 'who', the more effortlessly your life flows as you begin to operate from a solid foundation of you-ness.

It is my belief that working on, and developing this solid foundation is fundamental to our ultimate and authentic happiness and success.

In what ways can I coach?

Coaching can take place via the telephone (making distance and location no obstacle), equally as effectively, as in-person sessions. It's usually a question of where you are located and what your personal preference is. The choice is yours :-)

What are the benefits to having a Coach?

People who experience a coaching partnership can expect the following:

  • fresh, objective perspectives on areas of challenge
  • enhanced thinking
  • improved effectiveness
  • enhanced clarity and decision-making
  • enhanced interpersonal effectiveness
  • increased motivation
  • renewed passion and inspiration
  • increased confidence
  • improved productivity
  • greater life and work satisfaction and balance
  • goal achievement....and much more!

What is an ICF Credentialled Coach?

This is a coach who has been credentialed by the International Coach Federation as having demonstrated that they have met the stringent requirements of coaching. They have received very specific coach training, achieved a designated number of experience hours, have been coached by a mentor coach and have passed a rigorous examination process.

Why choose an ICF Credentialled Coach?

The answer to this is the same as why you would choose a qualified accountant to handle your financial affairs or a lawyer who's passed their formal examinations to represent your legal matters. You want to know that as a professional, they have attained a certain level in their profession. Choosing an ICF credentialled coach means greater peace of mind.

How do I choose a Coach?

The key thing to look for will be the'right fit'. As coaching is a personal journey it figures that you will need to feel comfortable with your coach and likewise, your coach with you. Select someone whom you feel you can easily relate to and create a powerful partnership with.

Consider also the following questions:

• What is your coaching experience? (number of individuals coached, years of experience, types of situations)

• What is your coach-specific training?

• Do you hold an ICF Credential?

• What is your coaching specialty or the client areas you most often work in?

• What specialized skills or experience do you bring to your coaching?

• What is your philosophy about coaching?

• What is your specific process for coaching? (how sessions are conducted, frequency, etc.)

• What are some coaching success stories? (specific examples of individuals who have done well and examples of how you have added value)
